- a truly unique Victorian cottage with original sash windows and a new log burning stove. The unique layout offers spacious comfortable accommodation for a family of four or five in this country village. Built in the 1890's by our great grandfather William Booker for the Colonel at Avisford Park, the lodge keeper was responsible for opening the imposing wrought iron gates for the carriages.
South Lodge has been receintly refurbished to give the benifit of modern living in a period home. The weekly price includes all gas central heating and electricity charges and we supply wood for the log burner in the winter. The cottage has a small south facing garden and enclosed rear garden with patio and lawn, off road parking through iron gates. For the benifit of all our visitors we operate a NO SMOKING POLICY inside all our cottages.
