Selection of Events in the Area 2010

  • Walberton Village Market. Held on the 1st Friday of each month from April to December in the Pavilion starting at 10:00am until noon
  • Arundel Farmers Market is held on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:00am to 1:00pm in the Market Square, Town Quay and Jubilee Gardens
  • Slindon Farmers Market is held on the last Thursday of each month from 08.45am to 12:30pm in the Coronation Hall
  • Chichester Farmers Market is held on the 1st & 3rd Fridays of each month from 8:30am to 2:00pm in the Cattle Market car park, Market Road
  • Blues on the Farm, Birdham Road, Chichester,17th to 20th June. Staged in a 40 acre setting a couple of miles south of Chichester, Blues on the Farm has a big reputation as a family friendly, safe and relaxed festival.
  • Goodwood Festival of Speed - 2nd to 4th July -a key event in the motor sport social calendar with its hill climb and rally stage.
  • Lordington Lavender OPEN DAY Wed 7th - Sun 11th July
  • Goodwood Revival -17th to 19th Sept -the world’s most popular historic motor race meeting and the only event of its kind to be staged in the romantic time capsule of the Fifties and Sixties.

    HOW TO BOOK
    A non-refundable deposit of £200 for each week is required to secure a booking together with a completed booking form. The balance is due not less than 8 weeks prior to arrival. Payment can be made by cheque (preferred) or a debit/visa/mastacard payment over the phone.
    PRICES -     Weekly rates are for up to 8 people in Lion House, 7 in Park End and 5 in South Lodge.
    Travel cots for babies available free of charge when available. (please request)
    INSURANCE - Please note that when a booking is confirmed you are liable for the balance irrespective of any reason you may have for cancellation. Whilst we make every effort to re-let the cottage you are strongly advised to insure against cancellation. We can supply details if required.
    DOGS - Dogs by prior arrangement. Please check before booking. Price per week or part thereof: £25 per dog. Maximun of 2 dogs.
    SHORT BREAKS - Available when showing + symbol. Short breaks may be either 3 nights Friday to Monday or 4 nights Monday to Friday Discounts for short breaks on dates with a + sign are £100 less than the weekly price.
